Lovin' Summer!

It's been a few days since I posted about our happenings. Today was a full day so I figured it a good time for updates.

Sweetpea started swimming lessons this week - after a mess up on the City's part... but thanks to a good friend, things got worked out and everything is now A-OK.
We spent some time today after lessons with aforementioned good friend and the kids at the pool. Just hanging out, swimming and lunch. It was an exhausting morning! Sun can do that to a person.

We came home and took a much-needed nap. I realized about half-way home that I had spent a little too much time in the heat and was getting that fuzzy-head-might-passout feeling. Luckily we didn't have far to get home. After a good long nap I woke up feeling much better, although still somewhat tired.

Tonight, Sweetpea and I hung out with the same friends at their house - her to play, me to scrapbook. It was a prosperous evening as I was able to get everything finished that I had been working on over the past few months. Now I can catch up on some other projects :) It seems to be neverending when it comes to scrapbooking...

Now, I am exhausted and ready to call it a night. I think tomorrow will be a laid back kinda day.
