Poor girl loved that fish and had been taking really good care of him, but he ended up getting some kind of fungus and had trouble swimming. We noticed it the other day and I stopped after work yesterday to get something to help him, but I guess it was too late. I had hopes because he seemed to perk up a little after I had put some of the medicine in the water... but it wasn't enough.
This morning she must say goodbye to her beloved Fin. We have left it up to her to decide if she wants another fish or not - after we make sure the bowl is clear of all fungus.
I think Daddy is taking her for ice cream today to cheer her up.
