Review: The Fab Four

Saturday night hubby, Sweetpea and I had the opportunity to see The Fab Four - the Ultimate Beatles Tribute Band.
These guys are so awesome that, if you didn't know any better, you'd think you were listening to the real thing.

There's no recordings - all live, all Beatles. They have fun. They sound great. They get the audience involved. They even include costume changes in order to represent each phase of the Beatles' career.

From the very beginning, through Sgt. Pepper, to the ending years it's like a trip back in time. It's like each performer is channeling the spirit of his Beatle and bringing him back to the stage. The mannerisms, the voices, each little facial tic - it's incredible.
When performing "Yesterday", Ardy Sarraf IS Paul McCartney... and "Imagine" - Ron McNeil becomes John Lennon.

Now, I'm not the full out Beatles fan that hubby is, so I wouldn't know if there was any little thing that wasn't Beatles... but he says they were spot on!
And for an everyday enjoyer (if there is such a word) of their music, it's a great experience.
Sweetpea got so into it that she was singing and dancing right along with them.

If you are even just a little bit of a Beatles fan, you should definitely check these guys out when you have the chance! And if you're not, you should check them out anyway - you'll at least get some laughs.
