No more "Dirty Dancing"

I'm shocked! I was at work all day so I didn't hear the news until hubby texted me this evening. Patrick Swayze... it's just hard to believe - even knowing that he was sick and fighting cancer - it's just one of those things that you think will never happen.

A 20-month battle with pancreatic cancer. At least he died peacefully with his family at his side...

Horrible, horrible news today in the Rays baseball world. Carlos Pena broke 2 fingers today when he got hit by a pitch and is out for the rest of the season!

The Rays have no chance at the pennant now with their top player down for the count :(
I guess there's always next year...

Sad Day in Entertainment World

Wow! What a shocking day in the entertainment world.

First, Farrah Fawcett losing her battle with cancer and then Michael Jackson collapsing in his home of cardiac arrest and later dying in the hospital...

RIP to both of them. The world will most definitely be a different place.

I'm still saying "wow"... I know he's been sick but it's just one of those things you think you'll never hear.
