Rewind

OK... so I've been a slacker again. But after Sweetpea broke her finger last week, the rest of the week just flew by with craziness.

First thing Wednesday morning I called around to try and get her in for a cast. When I did get her in, it was at a place 45 mins away... so we had to rush out the door. Sweetpea was excited because she got to pick her favorite color to sport on her arm - purple. We took her to lunch afterwards but then spent the rest of the afternoon taking care of her achy finger.


Wednesday evening was spent at the beach with her Daisy Scout troop eating hot dogs, sharing stories and hunting for seashells. It also included a cast-signing moment :) It was a nice end to an otherwise not-fun day.

Thursday Sweetpea went back to camp because I had to work all day. Friday she stayed home with me all day because it was Astro Skate day... not a good thing to be roller skating while in a cast...

Friday night Sweetpea, my mom, a friend and myself all went out to see "Respect" - finally - and had a great time!
Then the rest of the weekend just flew by - and yesterday I refused to do anything all day because I needed a day of nothing!

I do have a couple of reviews to post - "Respect" and the latest book I just finished - but that will be in the next couple of days. Tonight, it's scrapbooking!
