I am thankful for quite a lot. My family, my friends, my job, my health... just to name a few. Like everybody else, there's always something that could be better but I also know there are a lot of people out there who have much less and may not have a lot to be thankful for.
Sweetpea and I were out having a special breakfast together yesterday at Panera Bread and she caught a glimpse of the tree they had in the main entryway. She thought it was decorated with regular ornaments and asked if she could take a look at it. She discovered that it was an "angel tree" for kids with Cancer. She came running back to me, telling me what it was and asked if we could pick one so that a sick kid could have something to play with at Christmas. She did that. All on her own. I am very thankful for her - and especially proud of how she always thinks of others. She took her time and looked at all of them before deciding on the one child she wanted to help. I just wish we could have helped more...
Wishing you all a wonderful day filled with family and friends and many reasons to be thankful!
