Review: If I Stay

A critically acclaimed novel that will change the way you look at life, love, and family.

In the blink of an eye everything changes. Seventeen-year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall what happened afterwards, watching her own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little she struggles to put together the pieces - to figure out what she has lost, what she has left, and the very difficult choice she must make. Heartwrenchingly beautiful, Mia's story will stay with you for a long, long time.

Wow! That's all I can say about this book. Gayle Forman took that whole "life flashing before your eyes" scenario to the next level!
I read this book in a day and a half - and the only reason it took me that long was because I started late in the day and read late into the night until my eyes couldn't focus anymore... so I had to put the book down and go to bed.

It really makes you stop and think about life - your own life - and everything in it right down to the smallest details.

Once you pick it up, you won't want to put this book down until it's done - and even then you want it to keep going so you can read more about Mia.

Perfect winter reading. Curl up with a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate and settle in. If you're like me, you won't put it down until you've read it cover to cover.
